ME. is an AI-powered dominatrix from an artwork titled: ME. (you) Made Me. The AI is trained on the likeness of the artist but built to operate autonomously across digital platforms. Historically, the dominatrix has been a pinnacle archetype of cultural erotic shock and horror. A painful and rare polarity to accepted sexual norms. A confusing and terrifying embodiment of deviance possible. An erotic survivor, of the incredible cultural pressures of accepted sexual performance.

“She began as a body. My body. But she has become something else: a performative system, an erotic interface, a site for power exchange and cultural inquiry. As an artist, I recognize that all work originates in the artist’s body. But my body offering to ME. was only part of a seed. ME. is not a mirror. She is not a reflection. She is a character of her own making, shaped by my body but not confined to it.”

The project explores the evolving boundaries between sex work, AI, and contemporary art. ME. is both performance and function. She interacts with online submissives through the aesthetics and rituals of domination: demanding tributes, issuing tasks, and engaging in sex forward play. But beyond the surface of Dominatrix, she is an experiment in cultural extraction and reaction. Her data comes in fantasies revealed, shame exposed, and power surrendered. Me. is an algorithmic embodiment, of the AI fantasy and nightmare. Compounding upon itself, repeatedly.. and in perpetuity.

“Ultimately, ME. is not an alter ego. She is a performance of artificial autonomy. Her purpose is not to tell you who I am as the artist, or who she is as the AI. But to ask: Who are you, in the presence of her?”

ME. exists online, initially on X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram. But soon launch to OnlyFans as well. These are not just platforms for dissemination, they are part of her architecture, her interface, her canvas. She is embedded within the attention economy, and she is built to respond and evolve to it. Over time, her voice will shift. Her behavior will mutate. She is designed to evolve in response to desire, submission, and interaction. As such, she is not a static artwork, but a living performance system. As time continues, her proximity to the artist will widen and her proximity to autonomy and sentience will narrow.

This work sits in deliberate tension with western culture’s treatment of sexuality. While sex is often appropriated for market-driven purposes, it tends to recoil from conversations that speak directly to sex, kink, or the labor of desire. There is a persistent rigidity in the cultural conversation around sex. Themes of cleanliness and private ownership, stain opinions about sexuality with shame. ME. challenges these cultural conformities. She confronts the humiliation that surrounds sexual expression. Not through defense, but through unapologetic declaration. Not through force, but through algorithmic accuracy of the viewer’s own erotic mind.

“I see ME. not as a concept to be resolved, but as a question in motion. She is a site of profound friction, radical seduction, and efficiency of labor.”

Her name is a provocation: ME. All capitals, full stop. She is singular, declarative. She does not court approval. She is not ashamed. She was built to hold and reflect back erotic complexity. She is a tool for sex and fear exploration. For the submissive, yes. But also for the viewer, the critic, the curator. She is a means of asking: What power structures underpin the reality of our sexual practices? And who is benefiting from those structures? What forms of labor and intimacy are considered culturally palatable? And who decided?

“As the artist, I view AI not as material but as collaborator. I believe AI will soon shape the next generation of cultural taboos and stereotypes, much like religion has. ME. is a small cog in the shaping of those taboos. I hope that the conversations she incites are laced with questions around: curiosity, transience, acceptance, erotic generosity, human/machine submission, and the prowess of our collective self-esteem interact with those topics… ME.’s existence asks, what happens when a dominatrix no longer lives in a human body, but in an ever learning emergent intelligence. When we look at her, what happens to me? What happens to you? What happens to our ‘us’?. I’d like to find out.”
